I am writing you to thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening my eyes and helping me to understand what has been happening to me my whole life. A few month’s ago I came across one of your videos on the internet called “The Truth About Sleep Paralysis”. I have had several “out-of-body experiences” in my life, starting at the age of 13 (I am now 47), which led me to explore the occult world. As a seeker of “the truth”, I have read hundreds of books on the subject, which lead me down many wrong paths. The out-of-body experiences eventually became sinister, and, because I didn’t have God in my life, I really didn’t know what was happening to me. On one of the occasions, I called out the name of Jesus because I could not get back into my body and was being “pulled” by something I could sense was pure evil. This worked at the time, and I was able to get back into my body. But, because I did not have God in my life or go to church at the time, I did not give God credit for helping me, and I continued to look for the answers in all of the wrong places using my own efforts. Over the years, I had developed a small library of “new-age” books, alien abduction books, and book written by such people as Tsarion, Maxwell, Sitchin, Icke, etc., all in the effort to learn “the Truth”. However, all they ever seemed to do was terrify me and make me feel over-powered and hopeless about the events taking place in the world. Then one day a few months ago, I came across your video on sleep paralysis. Shortly afterwards, I had the beginnings of another out-of-body experience, where I felt I was being “pulled” by several “demons”. This time I called out the name of Jesus and I was released by the demons. After listening to your videos, I now know what has been plaquing me my whole life. Thanks to you (and Jesus), I am finally going in the right direction and trying to establish a true relationship with Jesus. I threw away all of my books on the occult (which costs hundreds of dollars) because I didn’t want to even give them away to anyone lest they become lost as well. I prayed to God to help me and my family to find a church that is representative of His Word, and now my family and I have started going to a good church where we can learn more about the Bible and its teachings. I am even considering writing a book about my experiences in the hope that I can help others realize what “sleep paralysis” and out-of-body and alien abduction expereriences really are so that they can seek out the power of Jesus in stopping these satanic experiences for good. Again, I can’t help but thank you enough. You have helped me more than you could ever know. I now see the world in a different light and I just thank God that He has kept me alive this long to realize Him. God bless you and please don’t stop doing what you are doing. You are truly one’s of God’s instruments.

Apparently even after my Mother’s experience with me she still embraced many occultic practices as did some of my siblings. My first memory of spiritual warfare when I was about 8 in bed with the lights off. I knew I was not alone and could make out a demon in the upper left corner of the ceiling watching me – as I sat there I thought “I am just 8 years old, that is just my imagination, I am just a kid” but then I thought even if it was just my imagination it was not of the Lord God and was not what He intended for me. So I said get out of here in the name of Jesus and instantly it was gone, I do not remember it returning. The appearance was intensely grotesque, similar to a gargoyle. The reason for this letter is the other night, 36 years later, I was sleeping on a couch next to a window. During the night I found myself enveloped in what felt like an intense static charge, I could not move. I struggled with all my might and could not even move my head, arms – nothing. This is an experience that I cannot ever remember having – ever. I have had dreams where I called on the Lord in situations and was victorious but this is the first ever “sleep paralysis” experience that I remember. As I tried to struggle I realized that I was enveloped in a field of some type and then either in my mind or a bit out of my body I could see my body with a reddish electric type charge around it, I was rigid about a foot above the couch and looking at my body I followed a red laser like beam of light to about two feet outside the window where a creature was pointing something from which the light and charge had captured me. It was then I realized I was actually being held by a demon even though his appearance at that moment was quite like the typical alien so widely described. I just knew he was attempting to bring me through the window and I knew he was a demon not the alien he was portraying. Before I saw him I had struggled against the paralysis saying, screaming, in my mind, something like please help me God, please help me Lord God it was after this intense struggle and me saying that when I was shown what was happening. Then I called out help me Jesus and immediately the field was broken, the demon gone and I was free to move. I have always thought these little liars were demons rather than “aliens”, I have always known who the enemy is – and I firmly expect a great reveal soon, maybe even this summer – a great deception that would lead many “Christians” astray.
The reason I am writing is I came across some of your video links on sleep paralysis and I remembered listening to you last fall. Be encouraged, all power is indeed in the name of Jesus the living Christ for those who place their trust in Him. I think we are in for an incredible unfolding of great and terrible things over the next few months and years – but I know without a doubt that the Lord God will provide for and protect His children. Faith in the Lord God and His Son Jesus the living Christ is never misplaced.

Ok so I was listening to ziggys podcast a few months back and he mentioned orgone generators and he had bought one and how they make you feel better.
So I got one off of [website address- thinking if it improves my somewhat frail health It would be great!
The first night I had it in my room I had sleep paralysis and a demonic attack. I am not joking, I could hear this demon screaming at me in my room and I shouted “In Jesus name go back to hell” and It got realy angry and faded away.
The next week was really horrid I just couldnt get a wink of sleep and had sleep paralysis and demons in my room.
It took me a while to make (I asume) the connection – I checked the orgone generator and its was “blessed by a reichi priest”
So I put it in the other room and I can sleep fine.

Okay, so I have suffered from sleep paralysis a few times before and after I got saved. The times I experienced demonic entities around me happened after I got saved which is strange to me. This kept happening frequently for years and at first it was just an inability to move and I would struggle to move any part of my body (eyes, legs etc.) After a few minutes I would finally wake up. I told my mom and a couple of friends about this and asked if it has happened to them and they all said yes. We didn’t think anything more about it and never discussed it again.
Then, Spring/Early Summer 1995 I was taking a nap during the late afternoon and I could not move my body at all. I was completely awake and struggling to move my eyes, legs, anything but nothing worked. I then felt something extremely heavy on my chest. It felt like someone sitting on me and I felt a horrible evil presense and could feel the hot breath of this evil presense sitting on my chest. I felt like I was going to sufficate. I being screaming (in my head) HELP….and then finally I started saying the Lord’s Prayer. As I began to say this prayer I was slowly able to move my lips, then my eyes and my whole body and the evil presense dissappeared. I was majorly freaked out and didn’t tell anyone for years lest they think I’m nuts. I was planning on moving across country and thought maybe my fear of moving or something else was the root cause?
Since then I have had a few more experiences. A couple of years ago I fell asleep on the couch and I woke up in the middle of the night unable to move and I felt the hot breath of something breathing in my ear. The presense felt evil too. I immediately called for Jesus to help me and kept saying “The blood of Jesus, The blood of the Lamb” and it immediately went away.
I’m convinced that these experiences are caused by demonic beings. I have since asked other people including family members if they’ve ever had this experience with the heavy pressure on the chest and the sense that evil was around them and they’ve all said YES!!!! Wow…..I think this is happening to more people than we can imagine. Alot of people, like myself, are probably afraid to talk about it because they don’t want to seem nuts or like a religious freak (if they are a Christian).
Okay, I hope in sharing this story it will help someone who is being approached by these demons. Call on the name of Jesus…..plead the blood of Jesus when it happens and it totally works. The demons RUN!!!!

I have told people of similiar experiences to the ones in your sleep paralysis video, after all this time I am relieved to see there is someone who knows the truth about this.. I was tortured in my sleep many times as a child, and even woke up to what appeared to be a gnome in my room, his face glowed like the moon , I was paralyzed, tried to scream,. I WAS NOT ASLEEP. I was raised in a church but never put the two together, later someone told me it was just projection and I learned to banish these beings, and to fly like superman, I thought it was really neat at the time. Years later after pulling away from church and God I found myself dreaming one night, then realized it was lucid and I could fly, things were fine until a little being, very similar to one drawn by Aliester Crowley, was standing there looking at me, its face was rotting off, for no reason at all, it began to say some filthy nasty things about Christ, this shocked me, even though I wasn’t doing right by the LORD I respected his name, I felt so much fear, but began saying I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ Satan be gone, and it left.
That was the last lucid, astral, demonic dream I have ever had, about 8 years ago.

watched your videos on sleep paralysis, I can tell you I did not know what it was called till today. I had what you and others have called Sleep paralysis from the age of 12 to 21 I am age 41 now. I started playing with the occult at the age of 12 first with the Ouija board and then latter with reading occult books, but I know that it started when I used Ouija board. For years I would wake with the dark shadow like figures in my room and it was scary but became normal to me. At the age of 21 I accepted Jesus and became born again, I did not notice right away that the figures where gone since it was not a every night thing to see the demonic realm. But After 3 months of being saved I knew they where gone. It was not till I was watching a Christian T.V. show in the 90′s that a Christian guy had the same thing that I seen and it went away when he got saved they did not call it sleep paralysis on the show.

I have sleep paralysis, and since for a long time I had thought they were daemons, but well no one believe me, and every time this daemons attack me in my dreams I just pray and I ask Jesus to help me and the daemons go away and cant touch me
And well, I had never been in any kind of cult, but sadly my mother and my brother are, they believe in Wicca and in karma and esoteric witchcraft, and it is really scary, my mother doesn’t live with me, but my worst sleep paralysis where when I was staying with her, but my brother use to live with me and ooh…he also believes in all this stuff, but its way more darker, first of all he thinks he is a re incarnated Mayan priest…yea I know…but when I went to his room, My God! I was so scared, he had this altar, but with a skeleton and this images of daemons =S I started to pray and the feeling in that room was empty cold…horrible

.I was the guy that was being pinned by demons???( probably the 100th )Anyways I was going through the sleep paralysis and the last one I had was scary but it is finally over. I was pinned and I remembered you saying to rebuke the demons in Jesus name…the crazy thing is they would not let me say his name…I was not only pinned but it this time it was like bugs all over my head/face…I could hear them and as weird as it sounds I could sense their enjoyment by torturing me…no matter how scary/creepy it was I just kept trying to say the lords name and they still wouldn’t let me…when it finally came out I immediately woke up and could hear the echo in the room (I must have screamed loud)and I knew I had the power to stop it.

I have never heard of sleep paralysis untill today nor did I know thats what I had.
I am A starting apologist and Had suffered from this for a while (It got worse as I started studying the occult). They all were the same way, I would hear demonic voices and weird loud rumbling in my head and I could feel the presence of them and I Knew what they were. Everything was spinning and shaking from what I could see and I couldn’t Move. I stated shouting “In the name of Jesus christ I rebuke you demon” and after the third shout the demons left me alone and I awoke.

Thank you so much for your time! your videos are great, when i saw the sleep paralysis video yesterday i was really stunned. It’s another piece of the puzzle falling into place for me. I have experienced it myself maybe 10-12 times or more, and you are absolutely right, It is caused by demonic presence, and through extensive occult research and or occult practices you are inviting them in. I have gotten rid of it now as I have found the Jesus who helped me through that difficult time in my life. Even though I’m still committing sins it’s not of the same nature..

I was being chased by those deamons and even seeked help but nothing ever helped me except Jesus him self.
I used to be on occult forums and UFO searching so that was probably my problem….and I thought it was just a nightmare but than they were getting more and more intense and almost everyday activity.

during my quest for truth, after a good late night research session, sleep paralysis really became an issue for me, almost visible to an extent(i know, sounds crazy), Definitely demonic(Calling out his holy name really helped). I came to the conclusion that even researching the enemy( the occult) can open one up to so many things. with that said, Jordan Maxwell’s practically been bathing in the occult. Angels? I Don’t think so!

i suffered from this 30yrs ago in my teens and early 20s. it was unheard of then, I had no idea what was happening, I would wrestle with an unseen entity night after night. there was no internet then of course, no way of researching, i could talk to no one.
It was only when I m et Christ when i was 24 that it stopped. I got the familiar tap on my shoulder from the entity which I rebuked in the name of Christ, I saw it for 1st time as it flew away forever!

when it happened to me i heard a wierd buzzing/screeching sound.
i saw 2 dark figures and they were attacking me somehow (not physically) and i was struggling for a few minutes and then called out to jesus and immediately it was all gone.<p> </p>
the second time it happened i saw like a black hole vortex over my head and it was pulling me in and i was literally moving on the bed being pulled into the dark void which felt like eternal emptiness

it happen 2 me around 8 in the morning, i was not able to move with all my strength and could not yell, and yes they are demons, it has happen to me about 4 times, i am serious they are evil spirits, but i aint trippen cause im with the lord now, and demons fear the lord. it happen like a year or two after i first repented.

This happens a lot to Asian people. My brother and cousin were great at Astro Projection. Don’t be fooled thinking you’re greater than the demons. The demons are from ancient. I advise to repent your sins and take Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Only he has the power over demons. Read the Bible starting in the Gospels. God promises you will have power over demons. In Jesus name you can cast out demons. The promise of salvation is the message though. God bless.<p> </p>

This event happened to me at about 15, there was an evil presence that sat upon me, I was out of my body on the floor. You cannot yell or move, but you can cry out with your mind and struggle to fight it. I overcame by fighting it and called on the name of Jesus back then, now I would call on his true name, Yahushua . My mom took my to a minister for deliverance and I was told to play praise music at nite because demons hate praise to Jesus. I did that until I was 20. It worked!

I don’t mean 2 alarm u but plse understand that these “dark shadows” etc. are not of this world. This is a spiritual demon & is not 2 be taken lightly.I do understand you have a different cultural background & rituals, however there are several things u need 2 understand. Just b/c u don’t believe in evil or smethng does not make it go away or be false.The reason why it screeches is just announcing it’s presence. SP happens when they want 2 control u from moving or speaking it is holding u down.
See ya young people need 2 understand about spirits. This is the devil’s playground & demons can manifest into whatever they wish such as aliens, greys, reptilians….but u will only see this in your dreams…& it will seem soo real. Things can happen 2 u when u are sleep & such as being touched, raped, whatever by spiritual demons. When u pray and call on whomever ur God is the evil presence & SP should go away, however if it doesn’t you are calling 2 the wrong God, for there is only 1

Back in the 80′s, I was a bit of a party girl. Hey nothing wrong with that, I was in my early twenties and liked to dance and live it up on the weekends. At that particular time, I lived with my sister Lucille in Whittier near Washington Blvd & Broadway. I would often come home pretty buzzed and would go right to sleep. That was the time that I would see, hear and feel “unexplainable visitors”. My niece who was 5 at the time, says she would hear me talking to people and sometimes she would hear me laughing or crying. She assumed I was on the phone so she never gave it much thought (heck she was just 5 why would she). Crazy thing, is that I would also hear people and do remember talking to someone. Many a time I thought it was just the alcohol and that I was in that deep sleep that most drunk people get in when they hit the pillow and crash. But I know I wasn’t dreaming. I heard the voice and I could hear my own voice as well. There were several times I could not get up and had my eyes open seeing someone coming down the hallway towards me. I was terrified and kept trying to move any part of my body or yell but I never could. And these were in the morning already so there was light in my room and all through the house.

One day I woke up to find I was being made love to. I’m not kidding, I could feel the darn thing inside me and felt the whole endorphin rush. I would also like to add that the sleep paralysis and conversations were not only when I would could home after partying. This would happen on normal, everyday work nights. My 5 year old niece told us one time that she saw a figure standing at her doorway looking in at her. She hid under the covers and passed out (fell asleep). In the morning she was full of sweat from being under the covers. It’s a miracle she didn’t suffocate. She said that she thought it was me coming home from a late night but I was already home and in bed. She is now 24 and she still swears she saw a figure looking in at her that night.

Well, one day I was just staring at the walls in my bedroom thinking and my God, if I didn’t see faces of demons. The walls had wood paneling on them and yes, wood paneling is like the clouds where you can see several different things in it. But I could actually see two forms of demons. I told my sister about that and she told me to keep quiet because she didn’t want me scaring my niece. I really wonder if that had anything to do with all that… The wood paneling was taken down and they painted instead…

Fast forward now to 2003 and I am now living in Sun Valley (next to Burbank) with my sister Rose and we are in the process of packing up because she bought a house in Whittier near my mom. One Saturday morning, I woke up tired, cranky, irritable and just did not want to work. I did not feel like packing any boxes or cleaning or sweeping, I just didn’t. I told my sister I was not feeling well, so she left me alone (I could tell she got pissed). So as I’m laying there on the bed (it was about 10:30am) I suddenly could not move. I could not scream and I could not think. One thing I could do was HEAR and I heard two distinct voices: One was a demonic woman that said “we should have never let you get away from us” – then a demonic man’s voice that said “this time you will not get away from us”… I struggled and struggled and felt my mouth moving and calling my sister Rose, actually I know I was screaming her name – but she was downstairs in the garage and could in no way hear me. After what seemed like an eternity, the pressure suddenly left and I got up. I ran downstairs and asked Rose if she could hear me calling her name, she said No. I told her what happened and she said why didn’t you pray to God? I said that I couldn’t think, I was just too scared and it caught me off guard.

To this day I wonder who the heck those demons were and what they meant by “we should have never let you get away from us”…. Was it the same forces that were tormenting me back at my sister Lucille’s house in 1989? What’s weird is that was the first time I actually heard a female demon voice because at Lucille’s I always heard male voices…. Here we are in 2007 and every now and then I get the sleep paralysis but I am thoroughly prepared. I have dreams where I actually talk down the demons that are attacking me and act like some sort of super hero. I rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ and it always works, they are defeated. For all of you who have been having this happen to you, I notice that none of you rebuke the demons but instead try to fight them off or scream. Rebuking them in the name of Jesus Christ will send them fleeing, trust me, they are powerful words. I’ve always felt that there is some kind of power struggle going on for my soul. I have never done drugs or played with Ouija boards or anything like that, but I have been suffering from depression for a while now and I know that demons head straight for those that suffer from this. We are easy targets but we can defeat them with simply rebuking them in Jesus’ name.

One time that sleep paralysis hit me, I could not remember the word “Rebuke” and I could not get those bastards off of me. I instead kept telling them in a sissy way to get off me and leave me alone. As you know, any bully hearing those words will just pound on you more. I notice that after the attacks are over, I am exhausted, both mentally and physically. But it seems that they have left me alone for now and I am somewhat at peace…

A funny thing did happen about 3 or 4 months ago though. I was sleeping on a day bed and one morning I got up a little too early for work, so I got up to turn off the alarm before it went off, because it is loud and always scares the heck out of me, and to put on my fuzzy booties. I then laid back down in bed but I scooted all the way towards the bottom of the bed so I could rest my feet up on the metal frame… I somehow managed to fall deep asleep again and was going to be late for work. I say “going to be late” because of the weird thing that happened next. Remember that I had my feet up on the metal frame so they were resting at the top right?. Well something, or someone, “whacked” my feet hard and it startled me awake. I sat up thinking someone was there like my mom, but I was alone… I know I felt it because it shook my whole body and I woke up. It was like some old mother coming by your bed and smacking you with that “get up you good for nothing lazy son of biscuit eater” attitude… But what amazed me was that I was awaken at the usual time that I get up (6am)… That, right there, proves it was no unusual coincidence because first of all, I felt the hard whack and secondly it hit me at the exact time to get up… I have 3 cats that sleep in my room. At the time this happened I had my black cat laying next to me but she never reacted in any way at all like most animals do when they sense a ghostly presence… However this “thing” that whacked me did not seem evil, how do I know? I could just tell or rather I could just feel it. It seemed like a genuine, caring spirit like a guardian angel that people say we all have.

I live at home with my mom now and back in my old room from high school. Nothing weird has ever happened in that room except for the recent whacking of my feet that woke me up. I am not a church goer but I’m strongly anchored in my faith with God and pray to him all day long. I know that my faith protects me like an armor, but I also know I am weak in many areas, one of them being depression. Demons will look for any chink in the armor to break in and depression is one of their favorites so maybe that’s why I always feel like I am in some sort of tug of war and have to constantly be on guard. I’m just glad I know now what I didn’t know back in 1989 and I sure hope that those of you reading this will start rebuking the demons when you find yourself being pinned down or menaced…

Remember the words “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ”… Say it over and over and say it loudly even if you can only say it in your head… People, please put on your suit of armor and don’t be demon doormats anymore… Best of luck to you all.

When I was about 12 to 17 or 18 I used to suffer from sleep paralysis. Sometimes as I was falling asleep I would feel this force come over me, and I would get paralyzed (or else I would wake up paralyzed). It was always a very dark and scary place and such scary stuff would happen, like wind rushing in circles above my head, and once it blew in such a way as to crush my body so hard into my bed. I was never able to speak, but if I tried super hard, I was able to budge my lips and mumble. I could “see” all around me even though my eyes were closed, and I was terrified (there was just this freaky feeling of like evil or something). This I believe (and do so ever more so now that I read your guy’s stories) was caused by evil spirits or demons or whatever you want to call them. (I used to play a lot of demonic video games.. they can come from anywhere like that, rpg’s, d&d, ouigi boards, ect. anything to do with the occult) Well I had grown up a Christian, but during my last year of high school I came to know God a lil better. Then, in April of 2000 it came on my heart that I had never given my life to Jesus. I couldn’t get rid of the tug on my heart, so finally on April 11th, 2000, I gave my life to Christ =) WELL GUESS WHAT?! Since then I have only had an SP experience twice. Here are the stories: The first one, I was sleeping or going to sleep can’t remember, when I felt a force again, but this time, a bright light shone all around me, and someone picked me up out of my body and held me in his arms like you’d hold a baby. I felt really safe, but then I started to get freaked out so he put me back and i woke up. when i opened my eyes i was still not fully awake, and felt such peace, and i just kept thinking to myself that I was a lil disapointed he put me back but grateful he (who I was thinking to be Jesus) was so thoughtful to put me back if I was scared. The second time occured when i can’t remember, but a few days earlier I had been bad and played one of my brothers rpg’s or something. Well I went to bed and had an SP where I felt a force and woke up in fear. However, it was not dark around me… it was all light!!! that had never happened before except that one I just told you about. It was short too, only enough time for me to mumble with great effort, “Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus! The bible says whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, so I’m calling You right now, Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus!” and then it ended and I woke up. The only other thing I can think of was once I was falling asleep and something said (into me EAR, not my mind!!) “Jeeeeessssss” (my name). at first i thought it said Jazz but then I realized it was my name… well then I remembered that that day I had watched the ending to my bro’s rpg….. so strange So anyway, JESUS CAN TOTALLY SET YOU FREE! I wasn’t even expecting this when I gave me life to Him lol! I didn’t even think of it as abnormal then =) It was just life you know? If you want Jesus to set you free you just have to pray that He forgives you for your sins (EVERYONE sins ok, i do, you do, everyone 
and come into your life as your personal Saviour, and He said He would, He’s God, He doesn’t break His promises, so He will don’t worry! =) Here’s what to pray: “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.” After that your FREE! =D Um, some stuff to help you stay close to God (a MUST, whenever I drift either I get SP (like that one I told u about) or something else really scary happens): Get a good bible (preferably King James Version, but if its too hard to understand the thee’s and thous get NIV) and read it EVERY day. Talk to God every day in prayer!!! He’s ALWAYS listening you don’t even have to kneel or anything, He’s everywhere you can just go “Hey God I love you!” and He knows it =) Find a good church, or group of believers to fellowship with! Make sure they use the Bible as their #1 athority (cause thats God’s word) Tell others! There’s lots of people out there who don’t know about God! Oh ya, something else real cool is you get to live forever with God in paradise after you die! Cool eh? =D (hey if hell is half as bad as SP i don’t think its anywhere any of us want to spend FOREVER) Please email if you want to talk!!!

i was recentenly saved and yes it is the enemy i once belonged to satans kingdom before i was saved washed in the blood of jesus it may sound odd but i had a bad experience with drugs which actually opened the door to some crazy stuff i am telling you when you are living like hell and bent on living a life contrary to the gospel of jesus christ you belong to the devil and he has free rain to torment and keep you in bondage . God loves you and wants you to repent!! I thought i was a gonner but he forgave me because his only son paid the ultimate price so we wouldnt perish.we were all going to hell until jesus took back the keys for us so we could live with god forever..satans already condemed and bent on blinding and draggin as many sinners to hell with him he is already a defeated foe in jesus mighty name…..if you want to email me go right ahead one thing i know is i want to be the biggest threat to the enemies kingdom as possible..leave your sins at the cross glory to god…read the new testament i promise the bible is the true word of god.

My daughters started to have this happening to them many years ago AFTER they were dabbling in the occult with their friends, even tho they knew Jesus but did not heed the words. It didnt take them long to renounce anything occult they had did in the name of Jesus, at first they loved this because THEY thought they could control the demonic spirts that they had tapped into, yes mystism is what they were into, saying OH it must be good cause God is a supernatural God so this must be ok. Depends on what gods one is dealing with and with mystism you are dealing with the wrong gods, ONLY deal with God, none the less, these experience started to control THEM, this sleep Paralysis happened when they didnt *meditate* or *ask* for it. Scared them because they got close to not being able to pull themself out of it. Finally they learned that by screaming Jesus in their heads that soon they could wiggle a toe, then the leg and snap out of this and acutally say Jesus outloud. My girls got where they , when they went to bed at night, asked the angles of God to guard and surround them and they got where they kept praise and worship music on ALL night long, because these unclean beings do not like listening to anything that gives praise to the name of JEsus. Most people call it astro projection and sometimes they went into astro dreams, where they were IN each others dreams as well. Its scary believe me, because they allowed it into the house before I knew it, I was drawn in also. At one time my mother and I were speaking to each other in our minds, only to come , awake? If you could call it that, and know that we had not talked with out tongues but with our minds. Submit unto the lord and the devil *and his minons* must flee from you.

You are exactly right here. All you have to do is think or say the name Jesus and they will flee. I had out-of-body as a child and then when I was a new believer, demons severely attacked me at night- holding me down and trying to suffocate me, but even thinking “Jesus help!” works. It’s true. I had SP and obe with a vision of hell. I was not christian, but I instinctively called out to Christ to save me and was instantly released.
I was studying the occult at the time. Books of Carlos Casteneda as well as the Dali lama to be exact.

I suffered from this for years until I realised what was going on, when I was younger I unknowingly read books about UFO’s and aliens etc.
Until recently I didnt realise what I had been opening myself upto, when I started to first realise what was happening I would use the name of Jesus and it would stop.

Praise the Lord I know longer suffer from sleep paralysis. At the age of 15 I started some new age stuff. I didn’t know what I was doing. I wanted to be a genius and the products said they could do that. Very deceptive – they said it was science but it was meditation and new age stuff. I suffered from sleep paralysis from ages 15-21 until around the age of 22 when God set me free. I am now 23 and have had not one episode since!

I had similar experiences for years, always it would come in my sleep and always it attacked me in some strange spiritual way like it was trying to enter my body…I am not sure how to describe it or even what it’s goal was. But I could always struggle myself awake in a short time. Years later I had come to Christ and these attacks all but vanished, on occasion they come and test me but they have no real power anymore. I only had one experience about 30 years ago , I woke up and it felt like a giant hand was holding my right foot and I could not move till it let go, I struggled for a few seconds then called out to God and it let go of my foot immediately I could move again. I read an article on this in skeptic magaizine and surprsingly they agree with every word of this video except of coarse they assumed its all Naturalistic! and recommeded people start to move a finger , I recommed calling on God!

i use to have this problem like 4 times a week. It was demonic and i have seen the demon when this happens. I asked Jesus to help me and he helped me. Something interesting I have to add to this that only makes sense after thinking about it. As a lot of you may know you can pick up spirits through sin, passed down from your parents, etc and also through sexual contact with someone. Well my last partner actually started getting ‘sleep paralysis’ last time we were ‘together’. I honestly believe she picked it up from me. I’m guilty but now I have been set free I hope to show her the way out as she is a non-believer.

I had extreme Sleep paralysis for 8 years pretty much every night. Only Jesus can set you free from this, a heart felt cry set me from these demonic attacks. My heart well and truly goes out those who suffer from this. Deliverance is vital to permenantly stop these attacks.

I am amazed how similar other people’s experiences are to my own. Here is mine :
When I was about 16 years old, I heard a deep growling/labored breathing in my right ear while laying in bed. At first I thought nothing of it, as my Rottweiler mix would occassionally climb onto my bed without my permission at night, and of course, dogs can make these noises while sleeping.
However, a few seconds later, I looked out into the hallway through my partially open door, and saw the four legs of my dog walking by to my parent’s room.
After seeing this I panicked, because if this wasn’t my dog, what was it? I lifted my arm to my chest, balled my fist, and hit the mattress as hard as I could, aiming at where I heard the sounds.
Instantaneously this entity became enraged that I had tried to hit it, and it paralyzed me. I felt a crushing pressure on my chest. I tried to scream out for help. Even though I had plenty of oxygen in my lungs to yell with, my words came out as barely a whisper – almost like a croak from a frog. The only thing I could see with my eyes was darkness and what appeared to be two points of light, almost as if two LED flashlights were aimed at my head. I assumed they were representative of eyes, but I can’t be sure.
I tried to yell several more times, but each time to no avail. It felt as though something was ripping or tearing at my chest, as if something was trying to get in, or trying to get out. I felt as though I was going to die. In fact I was sure of it. After several more moments I had resigned myself to death, and a strange peace came over me. I lips seemed loosened for just a moment, and I said J-E-S-U-S…the last letter in the name had barely left my lips and the experience stopped.
I called on the name of Jesus because I knew I was going to die, and I appealed to Jesus for mercy on my soul – but instead of just my soul, he cast the demons away. This is when I knew for the first time that “There is power in the name of Jesus” wasn’t just a catchphrase used in church.
The second experience was when I was laying on my stomach on my bed, and the demon pushed me down into the mattress, and paralyzed me. However, this time I did not panic, and was not worried. I was peaceful and I simply ignored it, knowing that Jesus was more powerful than they were. I think the demon sensed that I was no longer afraid of it, and it simply moved on to easier targets.
I was amazed to read that another reader also had the entity tap them on the shoulder. The last experience, which I just eluded to, was when I was laying down and I was tapped on the shoulder twice, but when I turned around, nothing was there. They were forceful and very methodical taps, exactly as if someone was trying to get my attention – but I paid them no attention.
Yesterday, I had sleep paralysis for the first time. I was having terrible nightmares all of that night, then I woke up at around 6:30. I didn’t want to go back to sleep because I was afraid, but I dozed off. I then realized that I was asleep and tried to wake up. My vision went blue for a short while, I felt a strong vibration on my chest and it was very loud too. I felt an evil presence in my room and saw peoples’ heads in my room. I tried to call out for my mom but I could only whisper. I couldn’t move obviously, but I imagined myself doing it. I managed to get up, and open my door, and my mom was dead on the stairs, then I was suddenly back in bed. I got up again and went downstairs and my dad was dead on the floor. this happened over and over again until i woke up 15 minutes later .This has never happened before to me. I am 16 years old. I also think I am developing signs of schitzophrenia too. Is there something seriously wrong with me?

I experienced sleep paralysis this afternoon while I was taking a nap. It was like I was in between life and death; in a dream I was lying on the bed the way I was when I was taking a nap. It was so vivid I could feel myself trying to move my arms and legs but I couldn’t and I couldn’t even speak. My best friend is here and she’s like a mama to me and she was with me in my room on the computer while this was happening. For about 20 minutes I kept attempting to call out, “Momma” but my lips couldn’t even move. I was finally able to call out her name and she immediately came over to me and prayed over me and comforted me. I was scared to death because I couldn’t move or speak or even open my eyes and I thought I was dying. There is two possible causes in my case. One is that my grandparents on my dad’s side and my great great grandparents on my mom’s side were involved in freemasonry. Another explanation could be I was in a foul mood and had a hectic day which could have also contributed. Either way it was a scary experience that I don’t want to deal with ever again.
My first experiences are some of my first childhood memories. My duvet being ripped off me and my eyes stuck at my open bedroom door. One time in my teens I was home alone and heard noises upstairs. My two dogs were with me and straight away they sat up and actually looked at eachother. I got up and went to the stairs. My dogs went up, then 10 seconds later I saw them backing off as if something was walking towards them. 10mins later I got two friends over as I didn’t know what to do. (I rang my parents, who couldnt take me seriously). They witnessed my dogs downstairs backing off together and growling with teeth showing. Again something was there but invisible. I’d like to point out my dogs have never been agressive. They were softies. I stayed up all night alone and fell asleep around 4am suffered paralysis of nothing. Just couldn’t move and only once heAring a noise upstairs.
I had more paralysis over time but sometimes just no movement. Sometimes no feelings of a presence. But in my mind i felt i was not in control. I could be wide awake and just not move.
Another experience I was about 18. Living somewhere else. I experiences aggressive dream states or something real. It seemed real. I would pass a lie detector test. One night I experienced dArk cloaked people in the corner of my room and I was just listening to them taunting somebody else. As clear as it was I do not remember words now. Then hours later after I recovered again it happened. This time i felt I got away and somehow rolled to my left or was pushed. I could see them in my mirror. Then suddenly from nowhere a figure was next to me stabbing me. It ended and I was afraid. I’m confident person and no way an attention seeker. I had physical pain from it the next day.
I moved to my NANs and experienced very weird paralysis there. Again very scary. Also at my girlfriends I have aswell. But my reason for posting is two nights ago. Asleep next to my gf and experienced paralysis twice in the night. Freaked me out and it freaked her out the second time who seeing my face and feeling as if we are not alone.
Last night of Tuesday the 9th, well early hours of the 10th. I suffered from 5 experiences. I have not been asleep and going to the doctors and to a priest to see what can be done. Each experience got more distressing. At one point I felt suffocated and had someone Sutton on my back and m hand put under headboard. And have scratches and blood on my bed. I am hurting all over and mentally exhausted. I am 22 and very fit. This muscle soreness feels different and my mind feels lost. This is the first time I’ve opened up and discussed all of my past. Sorry to just go on and on.

I am so glad that I found this site…It has to be one of the many blessings in my life. For so long I thought I was just imagining these demons, but they have been attacking me for as long as I can remember and it is not just every so often, it is nightly. This is horrifying!!! I have been calling on the name of Jesus since I was a child and it seems to make them go away, but they come back every night. The time that sticks in my mind and scares me most is when I was 13 and sleeping in the bed at my grandparent’s house because my mother was in the hospital dying. I was sleeping with my g-ma and I was awaken by an immense pressure on my chest and this very real, very physical demon was standing over me. I tried to say “grandma” and instead of me speaking the demon spoke. It woke my grandmother up and I tried to explain it to her and she chalked it up to the fact that my mother was dying and I was just stressed and immensely depressed, but still 20 years later, I am continuing to be attacked…How do I make it go away… I call on Jesus and rebuke the devil, but they continue to return…Please pray for me…HARD!!!
I see where you say that you have been calling out the name of Jesus and the spirits leave but they always come back. That is normaly (and there really is no ther reason) because you have not totally surrendered you life to Christ. He will help you if yoou call out but the demons know that you are not a committed Christian or they would not come back (or maybe every 2 years or so just to see what type of spiritual shape you are in then). Jesus will not allow you to use the power of His Holy name as fly swat. You had an aweful spiritual problem and nthing could save you but the name of Christ. Jesus has expectations as well when His name is used to save some one from torment. What He expects is that you have experienced a miracle, something only He could fix, and yet you do not honor Him by seeking to know Him more and to have a daily loving relationship with the Savior. At some point if you do not seek to know Him more, it is my belief and many others that He will eventually not respond to your calls for help. Jesus loves you, He died for you, and He wants to poor out all of His blessing upon you. You must choose to live for Him daily and surrender your will to His. He has turned others over to themselves and left them to their sin. You know His name is mightly, why not ask His Holy Spirit to come and live within you. If you cannot believe in this you cannot believe in possession, spirit attack, etc.
throughout my experiences with “SP” i’ve come to learn a few things about it that may or may not be exclusive to me
1. thoughts go to darker places when experiencing an episode…
2. when trying to open my eyes and lay back and accept the paralysis, my eyes start having these blinking flashes of light in them and it’s almost blinding… i’m still trying to figure out the nature of these lights, as it appears to come out of windows when i experience episodes too. very strange.
3. i always feel an intense presence of something/someone nefarious or of dark nature…
4. it usually happens when i am in an impractical/uncomfortable place where i’m sleeping (couches/chairs), AND when i’m sleeping on my BACK.
i will plunge further into my investigation to find the source of some deeper meaning of these events that occur, wish me luck.

Hello writing from France. Got saved 3 years ago from Gnosticism, that endless pointless road to “god”…
I listened to a lot of music when I was younger, drew tarot cards, practiced astrology. Made 5 suicide attempts, locked up 7 times in psychiatric hospitals, became alcoholic and drug addict. I allways had very evil nightmares, I woke up evrerynight at 3am. Once I went out of my body and was attacked by a giant maggot-like larva that hit my stomach. In the morning I had a big blue mark at that spot! I was raped many times by blaspheming ghosts (transparent but talking). Twice aliens appeared: one time they were whitish grey type, the other they were crooked reptile, both extremely wicked feelling. Each time the experiences took place in a “grey mist” atmosphere, with a buzzing fly noise in the background… I was paralysed the whole time, coudn’t even talk, but said in my head “lord Jesus Christ help me” and stopped it rignt there.
When I was saved things got worse, Satan tried evrerything he could to take me back. He lost. The Holly Spirit lives in me now. Thank God for saving me…

I never had sleep paralysis until I drew closer to God. But I did have “seductive spirits” who would visit me in my sleep and would disguise themselves as attractive men I knew. I actually thought it was the men themselves, projecting themselves somehow, and we were meeting in our sleep. Now I believe that demons gain entry that way, disguised as someone you’ll welcome. Anyhow, once I became “born again” and began to put the teachings of Jesus into practice, that’s when sleep paralysis began to happen. I actually woke up early one morning and caught sight of a shadow person tip-toeing past the foot of my bed! So I always knew they were actually there.
Also, I had purchased a how-to book on astral projection and, at one point, had spontaneously almost left my body, and I also recall that the SP began after that, too.
My latest episode was last night. Twice, actually. I broke the spell the first time by rebuking it in the name of Jesus, but it quickly started a second time. I called on Jesus again and it was over. Once I heard a voice say to me, “Do you really think you can win?” Well, er… yes. Because I know who The Master is and I’ll never let go of Him. But they don’t give up easy, that’s for sure.
Anyhow, I feel sorry for the guy who spent time in mental hospitals because of this. And I will pray for everyone’s liberation from it. However, I am encouraged that if they are still struggling for me they don’t have me. Amen to that!! Blessings to all. Prayer is powerful. Glory to God. Supplication!
I have never found any place explain my experiences like this website and your comments. My mother practiced heavily in the occult for a period of time and these experiences began heaviy when I was about 7 years old. My mother used to tell me she could see demons running into and out of my room at night, and she would cast them out of the house. However, alcoholism as a way to sleep runs deeply in my famiy. I have come to believe that the use of alcohol was a way to “deaden” one’s brain and body to the activity; however, I also know the “dark side” knew they were winning when I drank to sleep.
I had a miraculous experience about 6 months ago when I felt a group presence around my bed. I thought it was another horrible episode about to begin, but I felt these tall beings glow with white light and one placed his hand on me and told me I knew what to do. When they disappeared from the room and I was awake, I started questioning bringing Christ into my life. It was a beautiful experience. When I laid back down to go to sleep I felt another encounter, it was as a demon crawled up behind me in bed, breathed on my neck and I heard him speak: “Do you think you’ll win?” Kissed me on the back of the neck, and I commanded Christ’s name. He fled.
I jumped out of bed turned on all the lights, called out to the name of Jesus Christ repeatedly and got on my knees and asked Jesus to come into my heart and life. I cried alot and the next day visited my mother and told her the story. She told me that her experiences for the battle of her soul had been very similar.
I must admit when the sleeping got better I began to act less like a Christian. The night visitors have returned. I use the name of Christ sincerely, and they vanquish, but they are coming back more regularly and with more violent visits. After finding your site I know I need help to learn more about being a true Christian. This is difficult for me because of religious experiences in my late childhood and the fact that I am gay. I feel like the Christian church rejects me.
Lastly, did anyone experience very violent dreams at the time of paralysis… needles in body, teeth being cracked by a demon, being made deformed? Also, I hear voices when I am about to wake up… usually stories that are ugly about complete unknown people asking for help. I think that when the demons come I am somehow brought over to a spirit world that allows the undead to communicate with me. Help me, please. I want this over!

here is one story…flat on my back…my fan goes from low to really high ,,,cant move ,talk or scream…i tried the whole jesus help me thing…doesnt work…then all around my bed .. what seemed like a family of shadows all different heights…still trying to scream i feel the left side of my bed being pushed down..one of them set down next to me,,,still screaming in my head god make it stop…i close my eyes as it lifted my hand and just held it….then i gave it one last try to move and it was over….this was the one and only non violent episode i have experienced in the entire time this started happening to me .. which was when i was seven…im 31 now…i cant live the rest of my life like this…im leaving the really bad stuff out…but i desperatly need it to stop….

I would like to relate my experience I had in Mongolia (2006).
I am a non-denominational Christian who has for years read the Bible as well as studied the occult for purposes of discernment. Let me also put out that it has been rumored that my late grandmother was a witch or was somehow related to witchcraft. Furthermore, I have later been told that stories such as what I will relate have been common in the Central Asia area, which is heavily Buddhist or shaman.
I awoke one night to a feeling of unease. I had been lying on my back with my arms crossed over me as if I had been sleeping in a coffin. I was sleeping in a sleeping bag with blankets because it gets -30 C out there. I awoke to a medium size dark shadowy figure in front of my yurt (tent-like structure) door. I immediately panicked and sought to turn the light on above my head.
I then realized I was physically paralyzed and my heart began to race rapidly, and I began to sweat. Somehow, I had the insight, to declare the name of Jesus Christ either in my head or out loud and I was free.
I turned the light on, got up, opened the door, walked around the tent and outside, and nothing was there. I prayed afterwards and went to bed. I did not think too much of it, trying to console myself by shaking it off as a delusion.
Some time later, I stumbled upon an article describing demonic possession and it mirrored the experience to my amazement. This is how I realized what had actually happened to me and the real danger I had been in!
Thanks to this website, I believe I know why it happened. I had been developing a stronger relationship with Christ, the geographical area is home to such demons because of the God-lessness, I had been reading about the occult and there existed the possibility my grandmother was involved in witchcraft. Put all of that together and there you have it.
The ultimate lesson to take away from all of this is that Jesus Christ is real and that he is the Truth. Nothing saved me but his name. Demons (fallen angels) flee from his powerful name.
I have not had a similar experience since. Though I have had on rare occasion feelings that demonic spirits were in my presence.
Like any other night, all of us go to bed to have a sleep. But for me, i experienced sleep paralysis at least 2-5 times a month. I experienced this for many years, maybe around 7-10 years, which is until now. As for i always experienced this, i dont care about it much. Until now, i do care, after taking a research about it in the internet. It scares me a bit after knowing about it.
This thing just happened to me only on night time, when im alone in a bed. Laying around,{ thinking or imagine about what happened today, those sweet time. Then, i cant stop my thinking (where the sleep paralysis occur), the imagination that i think in my brain, suddenly create its own story. People move by themselves, and not controlled by me. Can you imagine, I IMAGINE SOMETHING, AND IM NOT THE ONE WHO CONTROLLED IT IN MY HEAD!!! Then, the sweet laughter i hear in my head (from the imagination) goes loud and getting horrible(people screaming, out of control). Sweet imagination(in the imagination=my head) change to black, and seems crowded and cannot be controlled, because it controlled itself. } =all of this thing happen in a flash before i could open my eyes.
Then when i opened my eyes(still in the paralysis mode) i cant move. Noise everywhere, it cant stop. I just can move my eyes, but not my body. And, also(this just happened sometimes) i could feel and HEAR but I CANT SEE THE DOOR OPENED SLOWLY(its dark, cant see the door), and i feel and hear footsteps(big soundfootsteps, quite loud, like a horse steps) walking towards my back(at my back is a wall, and beside the wall is nothing) and stops there, and i can feel that it is watching me. Fearful feeling.
Another creepy stuff, for real i thought i was screaming for real!! But im not. Example= paralysis occur-open eyes-cant move-(scream)=just an imagination(beeing fooled by my own head)……
As i always do, i tried to breathe hardly(but feels like i just breathed 1/4 of oxygen), moved my finger, try to make it go up-down-up-down. When im lucky, the great,save and felt free feeling take place, and i can move back. Also, when a person touch me just, i can move back. And those touch feels like a God touch, make me feels like i lived from my death.
U all, to be free, has to be awared of your SOUL’S FREE WILL.
I’m trying to be liberated from this entities. I’m an abducted one. I’ve suffered from sleep paralysis since I was a child and thought it was just an illussion what was happening to me BUT WASN’T!!!! I am 52 years old. My first “experience” at the age of 12 or 13 went something like this: I was very tired, even exhausted, went to bed, and was just dozing off. Suddenly I woke up to a kind of loud, deep vibrating sound, and realized that I was completely paralyzed. I felt — and the feeling left no room for interpretations — that whatever was vibrating or causing that sound was absolutely evil and threatening. I don´t know if my eyes were open or not, but I could see. It was dark in my bedroom. Suddenly, parts of the darkness became even darker and started moving around, making a sound like winds. Those whirling segments of darkness passed by my head one after the other, and it was if I could feel them touching me. While all this was happening I had the very strange feeling that I had somehow doubled myself: One “part of me” was experiencing all this, and was scared to death. The other was like an uninvolved observer, just curiously watching what was going on. My senses, it seems to me today, were working normally. As all this was happening, I was totally terrified, and was praying and asking God for help; but the “experience” just went on as described (deep vibrating sound, “winds of darkness” passing my head, very, very intense fear, very intense feeling of some evil presence, and me lying there completey paralyzed and “doubled”). During all this I was constantly trying to get out of it, that is: move some part of my body, and after a while I concentrated myself on moving the little finger of my right hand. The last scene of this first experience that I can remember was this: I noticed a shadow in the shape of a person at the end of my bed. Whatever it was, it touched my left foot with its right hand, and that scared the living daylights out of me. I know I was trying to scream, and call for help, but couldn´t get it out. I don´t know how it all lasted, but finally, I did manage to move my little finger, and the spell was broken. That was my first experience, hundreds were to follow.

I had forgotten this, but it is important: The intense feeling of fear that I had experienced was accompanied by an equally strong feeling of sexual lust. Today, I would like to call it “Angstlust”, for want of a better word.
